Scaling Up: TOPTICA EAGLEYARD Strengthens Operations Leadership

In his new role, Rudi oversees Manufacturing, Process Technology, Logistics, IT and Manufacturing Engineering. He brings extensive operational experience from nearly ten years at Scansonic MI GmbH, a leading vendor of laser welding optics for the automotive industry, most recently as Head of Production and Logistics, where he led numerous production optimisation projects. He holds a M. Eng. in Technical Management and Logistics.

For Rudi, successful operations start with people, strong collaboration and a willingness to challenge established processes:

“I appreciate EAGLEYARD’s open, family-like culture, where responsibilities are clear and new ideas are welcome. I take a pragmatic approach: I’m happy to try something new, but always with a critical eye on the results. Bringing people together and strengthening collaboration across departments is key to responding quickly to complex customer requirements.” With a strong pipeline of innovative laser diode products, one of Rudi’s key priorities will be accelerating the transition from development to scalable volume production, enabling EAGLEYARD to bring innovations to market faster and meet growing customer demand.
