Enabling Scalable OEM Solutions with new miniECL and DFB lasers

We’re excited to expand our laser component portfolio with the launch of new compact and fiber-coupled solutions: – DFB Laser @ 795 nm (Fiber-Coupled) – miniECL @ 795 nm (Collimated Free-Space and Fiber-Coupled miniaturized External Cavity Diode Lasers) – miniECL @ 770 (Fiber-Coupled) Engineered for OEM integration, these platforms provide plug-and-play solutions and are optimized for miniaturization, offering increased stability, reliability, and scalability—ideal for transitioning advanced photonics technologies from R&D into real-world, industrial applications. Our miniTAs complement the miniECLs or DFB lasers in a fully fiber- MOPA configuration, providing a compact, reliable alternative to high-maintenance and sensitive macroscopic laser systems. These new solutions open the door to a range of emerging use cases. The new fiber coupled miniECL and DFB at 795 nm are a game changer for example for Optically Pumped Magnetometers (OPMs) for biomedical diagnostics—offering room-temperature, portable alternatives to cryogenically-cooled SQUIDs for detecting weak biomagnetic signals from the brain or heart. For OEMs developing next-generation medical, sensing, and quantum technology systems, this combination delivers a robust, scalable path forward—with lower complexity and higher reliability. We are committed to supporting the industrialization of photonic and quantum technologies with practical, field-deployable solutions.
